Introduction
Pneumatic actuated control type ball valve is a quarter-turn rotary regulating valve, which is used in conjunction with a valve positioner to realize proportional regulation. The pneumatic control type ball valve adopts intelligent control and positioning by inputting 4 ~ 20mA DC signal to control the operation, and realize the adjustment of parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature and liquid level.
Working principle
Pneumatic actuated control type ball valve uses compressed air as the power source to drive the ball to rotate back and forth by 90 degrees, so as to achieve the modulating of the ball valve.
When the pneumatic actuator receives the signal from the control system, it generates corresponding thrust according to the pressure of the control signal, pushes the regulating mechanism to drive the valve core to move, and completes the flow and pressure regulation of the medium in the pipeline.
Features
1. The fluid resistance is small. The ball valve has the smallest fluid resistance among all valves. Even the reduced diameter ball valve has a relatively small fluid resistance.
2. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, which can make the valve stem operate smoothly and flexibly for a long time.
3. The valve seat has good sealing performance. The sealing ring made of elastic materials such as PTFE is easy to seal in structure, and the sealing ability of the ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
4. The valve stem is sealed reliably. Because the valve stem only rotates and does not move up and down, the packing seal of the valve stem is not easy to be damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with the increase of the pressure of the medium.
5. Since PTFE and other materials have good self-lubrication, the friction loss with the ball is small, so the service life of the ball valve is long.
6. The bottom-mounted valve stem and the convex step on the head of the valve stem prevent the valve stem from being ejected. If the valve stem seal is damaged due to fire, the convex step and the valve body can also form metal contact to ensure the valve stem seal.
7. A spring is set between the ball, the valve stem and the valve body, which can export the static electricity generated during the switching process.
