Introduction

Pneumatic forged steel ball valves are preferred to cut off or adjust the flow in harsh services, including oil & gas, petrochemical, steel making, power plant, etc

Working principle

Pneumatic forged steel ball valve uses the pneumatic actuator as the driving source to drive the opening and closing of the ball valve. The function of the actuator is to drive the piston of the actuator to operate back and forth, thereby driving the valve on and off. Usually, a pneumatic forged steel ball valve is composed of a forged steel ball valve, plus a actuator + filter + pressure reducing valve + solenoid valve. Some pneumatic forged steel ball valves need to be adjusted, so it is necessary to install a positioner on the pneumatic actuator to realize the adjustment of pneumatic forged steel ball valves.

Characteristic

1. The valve body and internal metal parts are all made of forged materials, which can ensure that the valve body has sufficient strength and hardness;

2. Two-piece and three-piece valve body structures  are connected by bolts;

3. The seal is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene embedded in the stainless steel ring, and there is a spring at the back of the steel ring to ensure that the valve seat is close to the ball and keeps the seal;

4. The upper and lower valve stems are equipped with PTFE bearings to reduce friction and save labor;
