How do we do hydro Pressure Test of Rack & Pinion Pneumatic Actuator

1. Introduction

Our rack & pinion pneumatic actuators fully comply with the latest international standards: ISO5211, DIN3337, VDI/VDE3845 and NAMUR standards. The extruded high-strength aluminum cylinder body is finely ground and hard anodized on the inner surface, with long service life, low friction coefficient and rapid movement.

2. Procedures of hydro pressure test

To ensure the complete function and safety of rack & pinion pneumatic actuators, we need make inspection and test before the release. Now we introduce the simple procedures of pneumatic actuators below:

1.   Prepare the actuators without foreign matter on surface. Make sure that all bolts are tightened.

2.   Put it into test bench softly

3.   Clamp the actuator tightly and fill in air of 6 barg under water;

4.   Check whether any bubble appear from the actuator. If visible bubbles are observed, desert it into unqualified product section.

5.   Maintain the time duration of 30 seconds under air supply of 6 barg.

6.   Relieve the air and take the actuators out after acceptance;

7.   Wipe the actuators clean and put them in dry environment.
